1.Pulloutthetraybypushingitup.Checkthatthetrayis
completelyemptyandfillitwithwaterthroughtheopening
provided.
2.Takecarenottoexceedthelevelindicated(MAXWATER
LEVEL).Excesswaterpreventstheicecubesfrom
dispensing(ifthishappens,waitfortheicetomeltand
emptythetray).
3.Turnthetray90°:duetotheconnectedcompartmentseach
mouldfillswithwater(seediagram).
4.Closetheopeningwiththelidprovidedandputthetray
back.
5.Whentheicehasformed(minimumtimeapproximately8
hours)knockthetrayagainstahardsurfaceandwetthe
outsidesothattheicecubescomelooseandtakethemout
throughtheopening.

Start-up and use
Starting the appliance
! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation
instructions (see Installation).
!Beforeconnectingtheappliance,cleanthecompartments
andaccessorieswellwithlukewarmwaterandbicarbonate.
!Theappliancecomeswithamotorprotectioncontrolsystem
whichmakesthecompressorstartapproximately8minutes
afterbeingswitchedon.Thecompressoralsostartseachtime
thepowersupplyiscutoffwhethervoluntarilyorinvoluntarily
(blackout).

2. Inserttheplugintothesocketandensurethatthegreen
POWERindicatorlightilluminates.
3. TurntheREFRIGERATOROPERATIONknobtoanaverage
value.Afterafewhoursyouwillbeabletoputfoodinthe
refrigerator.
4. TurntheFREEZEROPERATIONknobtoanaveragevalue
andpresstheSUPERFREEZEbutton(rapidfreezing):
theSUPERFREEZEindicatorlightwillilluminate.Once
therefrigeratorhasreachedtheoptimaltemperature,the
indicatorlightgoesoutandyoucanbeginfoodstorage.
Chiller system

TheNoFrostsystemcirculatescoldaircontinuouslytocollect
humidityandpreventiceandfrostformation.Thesystem
maintainsanoptimalhumiditylevelinthecompartment,
preservingtheoriginalqualityofthefood,preventingthe
foodfromstickingtogetherandmakingdefrostingathingof
thepast.!Donotblocktheaerationcellsbyplacingfoodor
containersindirectcontactwiththerefrigeratingbackpanel.
!Closebottlesandwrapfoodtightly.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential
• UsetheREFRIGERATOROPERATIONknobtoadjustthe
temperature(seeDescription).
• PresstheSUPERCOOLbutton(rapidcooling)tolower
thetemperaturequickly.Forexample,whenyouplacea
largenumberofnewfooditemsinsideafridgetheinternal
temperaturewillriseslightly.Thefunctionquicklycoolsthe
groceriesbytemporarilyreducingthetemperatureuntilit
reachestheideallevel.
• Placeonlycoldorlukewarmfoodsinthecompartment,not
hotfoods(seePrecautionsandtips).
• Rememberthatcookedfoodsdonotlastlongerthanraw
foods.
• Donotstoreliquidsinopencontainers.Theywillincrease
humidityintherefrigeratorandcausecondensationtoform.
Food hygiene
1. Onceyouhaveboughtyourfood,removeallexternal
packagingmadeofpaper/cardboardorotherwrappers,
whichcouldintroducebacteriaordirtinsideyour
refrigerator.
2. Protectthefood,(especiallyeasilyperishableitemsand
thosethathaveastrongsmell),inordertoavoidcontact
betweenthem,therebyremovingboththepossibilityof
germ/bacteriacontaminationaswellasthediffusionof
strongodoursinsidethefridge.
3. Storeallfoodinsuchawayastoensureaircancirculate
freelybetweendifferentitems.
4. Keeptheinsideofyourfridgeclean,takingcarenottouse
oxidiserorabrasiveproducts.
5. Removeallfoodpastitsexpirydatefromtherefrigerator.
6. Forthecorrectpreservationoffood,alleasilyperishable
items(softcheeses,rawfish,meat,etc.)shouldbestoredin
thecoldestzoneofthefridgecompartment,i.e.justabove
thesaladcrisperwherethetemperatureindicatorissituated.
